What should I know about the beta?

DualWeather is in active development, so things may occasionally break or behave unexpectedly. That’s expected — and exactly why we need testers. If you run into something, just report it. On Apple, you can send feedback directly through TestFlight. On Android, feedback can be submitted through Google Play or via the contact form below.

I have an Android device — can I test too?

Yes! DualWeather is available on Android as well. When you sign up for the beta, select Android as your platform and we’ll add you to the Google Play closed testing track once your request is approved.

What are the minimum requirements?

DualWeather requires iOS 26 or later for Apple devices and Android 14 or later for Android devices. The app is designed for the latest platform versions to take full advantage of modern APIs and features.

Does the beta cost anything?

Nope. During the beta, every feature in the app is available at no cost.

How does testing actually work?

Once you’re accepted, we’ll send you everything you need to get started. The process is slightly different depending on your platform — check out our step-by-step guides for Apple (TestFlight) and Android (Google Play) for the full walkthrough.

Will I have to pay when the app launches?

Transparency matters to us, so here’s the honest answer: there will likely be some cost. Weather data isn’t free, and costs scale with usage. The beta is helping us understand real-world patterns so we can figure out a fair model. We may reach out to beta testers for input closer to launch.

Can I suggest features?

Absolutely. Use the contact form below or send feedback directly through TestFlight or Google Play — we read everything.

I signed up for the beta but haven’t heard back — what should I do?

We try to process beta requests promptly, but there can sometimes be a delay. First, check your junk or spam folder — our invitation email can occasionally end up there. If you still can’t find it, feel free to reach out via the contact form and we’ll look into it for you.

Can I support the project?

This is absolutely not expected — but some people have asked, so here’s a way if you’d like to.
