Follow these steps to install and test DualWeather on your Apple devices via TestFlight.
Download TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. TestFlight is Apple's official app for beta testing and is free to install.
After your beta request has been approved, you will receive an email from Apple containing your TestFlight invitation. This is separate from our initial welcome email, so keep an eye on your inbox.
Open the TestFlight invitation email and tap View in TestFlight. This will open the TestFlight app where you can review the app details and accept the invitation to join the beta.
Once you have accepted the invitation, tap Install in TestFlight to download DualWeather. The app will appear on your home screen like any other app.
On first launch, DualWeather will ask for a couple of permissions:
Prefer to keep location off? Open Settings, switch Current Location to Set manually and pick a place. DualWeather then asks location services for nothing, stops watching for movement, and that place drives your weather, severe weather alerts, precipitation notifications, custom alert thresholds, widgets, complications and background refresh until you change it.
Found a bug or have a suggestion? You can send feedback directly through TestFlight by taking a screenshot while the app is open, or use the contact form on our website. Your feedback helps shape the app before its public release.
